Virgin Voyages: Western Caribbean Charm on the Scarlet Lady - March 2025

Ever wondered what it’s like to sail with Virgin Voyages? Let me take you along on my incredible journey!

I had the incredible opportunity to experience their 6-night Western Caribbean Charm sailing out of Miami, with stops in Costa Maya, Mexico; Roatán, Honduras; and Bimini Beach, Bahamas. There’s so much to share, so I’ll be breaking it down day by day—starting with Miami!

Miami is one of two home ports for Virgin Voyages in the U.S. (the other being San Juan, Puerto Rico). It’s the perfect place to kick off a vacation, offering stunning beaches, incredible nightlife, world-class dining, and a rich cultural scene.

I arrived a day before embarkation (which I highly recommend to avoid any travel delays!). I stayed at the gorgeous AC Hotel Miami Brickell near City Centre, where I explored the luxe indoor/outdoor shopping and enjoyed a delicious Cuban dinner at Marabú.
